In this webinar we will focus on how to select goals that best suit your mission and effectively plan the day of giving. We will demonstrate how any program, whether big or small, with limited or overflowing resources, can maximize success with an in-house day of giving. The majority of time will focus on the months, weeks and days leading up to a day, and how to get the most out of the planning process.

Meet the Speaker


Dan Frezza

Dan Frezza is the Associate Vice President for Lifetime Philanthropic Engagement & Annual Giving at The College of William & Mary, where he oversees the strategic leadership and execution of a comprehensive annual giving approach. William & Mary boasts the highest undergraduate alumni participation rate among the Public Ivy universities, and also leads the USNWR top 50 public universities.

Under his leadership, Dan has successfully positioned annual giving and participation as key elements of a comprehensive $1 billion campaign. During his five-year tenure, William & Mary has grown from 23% participation in 2012 to a projected 31% by end of June 2017. Part of that success has come from the implementation of William & Mary’s day of giving, One Tribe One Day. Now in its fifth year, the annual day has increased in size from over 1,900 donors in year one, to over 12,600 in March 2017.

Dan has more than 13 years of higher education experience, including in student affairs, alumni engagement and annual giving. He received his bachelor’s degree in Communications and Marketing from Western Carolina University, and his master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University.
