PAPER POTENTIAL - magazine showcasing local creative talent

PAPERpotential - We provide the PAPER, you provide the Content!

Who are PAPERpotential?

We are a group of soon to be graduates from different creative fields with a huge amount of potential. This is where the idea for the magazine has come from: when students leave university they are in their creative prime; they are stuffed full of ideas and enthusiastic about getting out into the world of work. But it can also be a daunting process - how do we get out there and show people our ideas and skills? Well, my friends, we start a magazine that is linked to an online social network, which local creative businesses can access to search for the best local creative talent for their needs!

The PAPERpotential Ethos

Artists, Designers, Architects, Photographers, Scientists, Writers, whatever your creative field, all ideas - whether they be sketches, notes, diagrams, or random scribbles - have come into contact with PAPER. Our mission is to simply provide the PAPER so that creative people can publicly demonstrate their skills. Our front cover is a canvas completely dedicated to a piece of outstanding work from within the magazine, no text or logos, simply the work. The magazine is uniquely identifible by its cut edge. Not only do we want to showcase the incredible work people have produced, but we want to challenge them and get them collaborating, so that they can demonstrate their potential! The magazine itself will be a piece of art - a collector's item - and each issue is themed to unite the work, providing quality content to a wide audience of creative minds.

What do we want to achieve?

Our goal is to set up a network of creative people that can communicate with each other, to collaborate and inspire. Every quarter, we combine the genius minds of local creatives from different fields to showcase their excellence and ability to work together, producing the PAPERpotential magazine. We will link this network to creative businesses through the subscription, allowing local businesses to access the network, to advertise jobs, and search for people that have the skills they require. We aim to help creative people reach their potential.

What do we need funding for?

We may be creative, hard working and full of potential, but we need a kick start!          The funds will be spent entirely on Printing and Distributing the first issue.

We need your support and so do all those talented creative people out there!

Sponsorcraft have been very understanding of our recent busy times so have agreed to change the targets so that we can achieve our first goal of getting the first issue printed! So thank you to our current sponsors and we hope to be getting closer to our goal soon! Happy Sponsoring!

Jungle Ink by Miss Hazard - A young and upcoming artist submitted this piece to us based along the first theme of Ink. Getting her work in the publication will get it seen around Bristol. She sells prints and T-Shirts of her designs and is hoping that she might get commissions from more exposure.
